CEO Cited for Support of Health, Education and Civic Programs for 3rd Consecutive Year

Hollister Construction Services, a leading full-service construction manager specializing in corporate, educational, healthcare, industrial and retail construction, announced that Chief Executive Officer Christopher A. Johnson has been named a finalist in the Corporate Citizen of the Year category in the 2012 NJBIZ Business of the Year awards program.

Mr. Johnson was chosen as a finalist based on his exemplary corporate citizenship and extensive philanthropic work throughout New Jersey. Hollister actively encourages staff participation in community ventures and philanthropic activities, and provides matching funds for employees' charitable contributions. The company's independent philanthropic arm, The Hollister Foundation, supports a host of charities, including Strides for Sara, the All Stars Project of New Jersey, the Development School for Youth, Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Hugs from Home, and The Center for Autism.

The NJBIZ Business of the Year awards program celebrates New Jersey's most dynamic businesses and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community. Hollister was named NJBIZ Business of the Year (1-50 Employees) in 2009, and Mr. Johnson was named a Corporate Citizen finalist in 2010 and 2011.

"At Hollister, we like to say that we're great builders and even better people, so it's an honor to have NJBIZ once again recognize our commitment to corporate citizenship," said Mr. Johnson. "One of our primary goals as a company has always been to support strong, healthy communities, whether this takes shape in our construction management projects or our philanthropic activities."

Working through The Hollister Foundation, Mr. Johnson has raised more than $750,000 for organizations that foster children's education and health initiatives. Additionally, Mr. Johnson is a supporter of the Ryan Wolf Kossar Foundation, the CJ Foundation for SIDS, United Way, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Family Services of Morris County and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Produced by NJBIZ, New Jersey's premier business news publication, the Business of the Year awards program is presented by EisnerAmper, LLP, and sponsored by Sun National Bank, K&L Gates and CIGNA. Award finalists were chosen by an independent panel of judges including Jerry Creighton, New Jersey Institute of Technology; Professor David Finegold, Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations; Debbie Hart, BioNJ; Tim Lizura, New Jersey Economic Development Authority; and Joan Praiss, New Jersey Technology Council.

Award finalists will be recognized and the winners in each category will be announced during a formal awards dinner on December 3, 2012 at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ.
