Chyten Announces It Has Developed the Next Generation of Elementary Learning Programs Called "ESTEEM."

Online, May 21, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Chyten Educational Services, a premier tutoring and test preparation franchise based in Lexington Massachusetts, has quietly been busy developing the "next generation" of learning programs for elementary school students. The basic premise behind these programs, offered under the acronym ESTEEM (English, Science Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurialism and Math) is that learning happens best when students are engaged in hands-on activities that emulate experiences they will face later in life. "Students don't always love to learn, but they always learn what they love," says company founder and President Neil Chyten. "So we should be building programs that students love" By engaging students early, Chyten expects many ESTEEM students to find a hidden spark that may lead to a lifelong love of learning and perhaps even to a career. An example of a program already developed and tested is Chyten's Imagination Authors, in which students create a fictitious world that includes characters, plot, setting, conflict and resolution - the standard elements of novel. They then, collectively, write a book that Chyten actually prints and publishes!
