Cimon® Art announces its donation of the sculpture, "Love to the Rescue" by Cimon to the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for the Angel Ball auction. Inspired by the relief efforts from around the world following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the piece is a visual metaphor for interpreting the phrase "Love to the rescue." This amazing sculpture depicts a container ship that carries a precious cargo of supplies and love (in the form of Swarovski® Crystal heats in various finishes, sizes and colors) sailing on a glittering azure sea to those most in need. Built with LEGO® pieces that have been metalized, the ship and its cargo have also been crystallized with Swarovski crystals. The ship comes with its own museum quality display case.

Designed by Cimon, a native of Sydney, Australia now a long-time resident in New York's historic Hudson Valley, "Love to the Rescue" is part of his renowned sculpture series, Little Love Stories that are coveted by collectors around the world. Cimon is best known for the sculpture, "Love, Paris" which was a custom piece commissioned by a friend of Paris Hilton for her 30th birthday. Each sculpture in this series combine Swarovski® crystals with contemporary, limited edition LEGO® pieces as well as vintage bricks.
