City of San Luis Obispo, CA Purchases 100-User Laserfiche Avante System to Integrate ECM, Permitting and GIS
Online, March 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - AMI - The Paperless Company, based in Los Angeles, CA, was chosen as the sole partner for the City of San Luis Obispo, CA, last month for a 100-user Laserfiche Avante system.
According to George Bandarian II, president of AMI, San Luis Obispo purchased Laserfiche to act as integrative middleware with the city's EnerGov land use system, a PDP member. Implementation will begin in the Community Services and Planning Departments, and will also include integration with the city's ESRI GIS system.
Bandarian says key references, as well as AMI's recent win of the Superior Court of Santa Barbara County RFP, helped drive the four-month sales cycle.
"This year, AMI has leveraged Laserfiche's strength in the government space," Bandarian adds. "Laserfiche enables municipalities to simplify support by standardizing on a single ECM system-and bring flexibility and value by integrating with existing applications. As budgets recover, we look forward to continued growth in the government market in 2011 and beyond."
