Clark County (Las Vegas) Joins Ingeo's E-Recording Network

Ingeo recently increased its population coverage in Nevada to more than 87% with the addition of Clark County (Las Vegas) to its nationwide network of 307 counties, the largest network of any other provider in the e-recording industry.

Ingeo Systems, Inc., the nation's number one provider of electronic document recording technology, recently added Clark County Nevada to its network of more than 300 counties nationwide - the largest network in the e-recording industry. "We are pleased to announce that we have implemented electronic recording through Ingeo," said Clark County Recorder Debbie Conway. "Large volume customers will be able to record their documents faster and more efficiently. This process has reduced the manual process effort associated with paper processing from days to just minutes. The electronic process reduces costs for the County and greatly improves customer service," she said

"Joining with Ingeo has connected the nearly 2 million residents of Clark County with our vast network of submitters," said Karl Klessig, Ingeo's CEO. "Clark County is the fastest-growing county in the nation and e-recording will become even more beneficial as the population and the number of real estate transactions continue to expand." The addition of Clark County brings Ingeo's population coverage in Nevada to almost 87%. Nevada now has the second largest e-recording population penetration in Ingeo's county network. Ingeo's coverage in Iowa, which worked with Ingeo to develop a statewide portal, has more than 92% coverage; Arizona has more than 70% and the company has a significant presence (more than 50% population coverage) in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

"Not only does Ingeo serve more counties than any other e-recording provider but we cover by far the largest populations," Klessig said. "Our strategy is to reach al the major population centers so the maximum number of documents can be recorded electronically. This is critical for our customers, both recorders and submitters. In any given month, Ingeo processes more electronic real estate documents than any other recording organization. This includes everything from mortgages and deeds to liens and lien releases as well as default documents.

Ingeo is prepared to assist any county in implementing an electronic recording solution, regardless of budget or technology constraints. "We continue to evolve our technology to enable all recorders to benefit from electronic recording," Klessig said. "We work directly with counties and have partnerships with nearly all the major county recording system vendors," he continued. "With Ingeo's Electronic Document Recording System, there isn't a county in the U.S. that can't save time and money with our electronic document recording capability."

With this installation, Clark County has joined major counties across the nation that are using Ingeo's electronic recording solution to process hundreds of thousands of electronic documents per year. Many mortgage lenders in the U.S. are using Ingeo's capability for the electronic recording of mortgage documents. Ingeo provides e-recording services to all of the top 10 lending institutions in the country, plus the majority of the top 30, in addition to many regional and local submitters in counties where e-recording is available. Ingeo also has alliances with 25 business partners on the submitting side. No other service has a complete end-to-end capability that can adapt to virtually any submitter's system output and provide fully automated signing, notarization, delivery, recording, payment and return in conjunction with existing county recording systems.

Ingeo's Electronic Document Recording System reduces processing costs and time while improving productivity, efficiency and data accuracy. It provides a web-based e-recording solution that saves on energy and resources and is in full compliance with all standards and regulations. Ingeo's e-recording solution uses open platform technologies, providing flexibility in integration with existing solutions, while allowing users to capitalize on previous investments in technology. When fully integrated, the e-recording process takes only seconds.
