Gifted Nations "Free Your Mind-Stop Bullying" Tour
Lake Terrance, CA,- Classic Chicana's Club Ethnic Community Fundraiser to benefit Gifted Nations "Free Your Mind-Stop Bullying" Tour will be held Saturday, June 16, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rancho Perez Ranch, 13300 Little Tujunga Road, Lake View Terrance, CA 91342.
This inaugural family event emceed by comedian Kashauna PERFECTED and dj by Mauritius Island native Kash and DJ Joopz is open to the general public. Admission is free and parking is $5.00. The event will feature free live entertainment with performances by some amazing artist that include pop teen girl group Gifted Nations, Miss Teen Asia USA, R&B/Urban artist Chris Lyric, Armenian artist Greg Markarian, The Bubble Band, 9 year old comedian Leroya Sanford, Arleta High School Hip Hop Dance Group and traditional Aztec Dancers. There will be fashion shows hosted by Classic Chicana's Club featuring Pinup Rockabilly & Fashionable Clothing, bouncers, games, face painting, balloons and so much more for the entire family.
Raffles and giveaways will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a cash prize drawing for the 1st 200 cars that arrive by 3:00 p.m. Other awarded prizes are a signed hat by comedian/actor Sinbad, exclusive Jackson family shirt and CDs by Dealz, Nickelodeon product signed by former star of "All That", special tee and first single by Dominique of America's Next Top Model, cash prize drawing for the cutest summer hat and glasses worn and much more including a GRAND PRIZE drawing of recording studio time with Billboard Awards Winning Producer Andrew Lane that will include a music video shoot by a local production company once the single is complete. *Winner must be present for all raffles.
Ethnic merchandise and souvenirs will be available to attendees for a minimal fee. Please be sure to visit one of our many ethnic merchandise/vendors tables. Free 10 minute voice consultation will also be offered by Sterling Voice Coach Lyndia Johnson, principle voice coaching for the Grammy Foundation's Education Programs and officer for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Science.
This event is not only a chance for the community to experience a day of fun together with their family and friends along with CCC and Gifted Nations, but it is an invitation to help support this unique program where a positive multicultural interracial teen pop girl group and friends will dedicate their time visiting various schools in the San Fernando Valley district performing uplifting world changing music that encourages students to be positives citizen and end bullying.
The bullying statistics 2010 reveal that bullying is a crime that is not going away anytime soon. There are about 160,000 children that miss school every day out of fear of being bullied. Bullying statistics 2010 also report an increase in cyberbullying activities. Gifted Nations is on a mission to decrease this number tremendously in the 2012/2013 school year and ongoing year around.
