Mr. ChemDry is "Cleaning for the Cause" to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Mr. ChemDry has joined the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their mission to spread knowledge in the battle against breast cancer.
It is estimated that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime and each year more than 40,000 will die, according to the National Cancer Institute. This is why Mr. ChemDry and the National Breast Cancer Foundation have teamed up to fight the disease that impacts millions of people around the world.
Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way. We know how devastating it can be to learn your mother, sister, friend, or even you have breast cancer. We are happy to participate in fundraising for breast cancer awareness and customers are invited to make a donation at the time of their cleaning service.
ChemDry's "Cleaning for the Cause" campaign has raised over $100,000 the past two years in the effort to improve education and help find a cure for breast cancer. In order to raise this money, ChemDry franchises across the nation will participate in the "Cleaning for the Cause" program by donating proceeds from cleaning jobs and helping spread awareness about the disease. Cans of Spot Remover will be sold in a special pink design, with an included $1 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Mr. ChemDry understands the importance of this cause and knows if we all join together, we will make a difference.
The mission of the National Breast Cancer Foundation is to save lives through early detection education and by funding mammograms for those in need. They inspire the courage needed to win this monumental battle by providing women with help for today and hope for tomorrow.
Mr. ChemDry (www.mrcd.com) has been providing quality carpet cleaning to Utah residents for over 20 years and is a proud sponsor of "Cleaning For The Cause".
