The firm metamorphosed from what was known as Chavez Laureta & Associates Law Offices established by Attys. Francisco ("Frank") I. Chavez and Jose C. Laureta in August 1992. With the retirement of Atty. Laureta in August 2001 and the elevation of Attys. Buenaventura B. Miranda and Luis Angel G. Aseoche as name partners, the firm became known as Chavez Miranda Aseoche Law Offices beginning January 1, 2004.
The Firm specializes in litigation and dabbles, as well, in corporate practice. It provides services for incorporation of foreign and local entities before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); provides legal services for telecommunications concerns before the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) and representations in various government agencies such as the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), the Department of Labor, etc. It handles land registration cases, criminal and civil cases, domestic relations cases, labor disputes and construction arbitration.
