Coffee Party USA Holds Meeting in Tupelo MS

Tupelo, MS -Coffee Party USA will hold its very first local meeting on May 11, 2010 at 5:00 pm and will last about one hour. The event will be held at The Shoney's Restaurant in Tupelo MS, unless increased registrations for the event cause a need to relocate.

The first meeting held in Tupelo MS will be for the purpose of explaining the structure and the principles of the party, setting a tone for the conversation, understanding the concerns of individuals, and organizing future events.

Coffee Party USA is an alternative grassroots organization as a direct response to the momentum of the Tea Party. The party recognizes the concerns of many citizens about the direction of the country, Coffee Party members are generally concerned about the tone and overall divisive language coming from the tea party. The coffee party is an alternative path for citizens who want to be involved and be heard by their government, but who also recognize that insightful and enlightening conversation about the issues is the most productive method to go about making that happen. The Coffee Party USA is not affiliated with any existing political party.

Coffee Party USA is a grassroots volunteer organization that held more than 350 meetings across the United States on March 13, 2010 as part of its National Kick-off Day.
