Cogent Energy Services Acquires Four New Coiled Tubing Spreads
Houston, Texas, July 26, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Today, Cogent Energy Services announced the acquisition of four additional coiled tubing spreads, including a two-and-three-eighths unit. The purchase increases Cogent’s spread count to nine units to better support their services in the Eagle Ford, Permian, Haynesville, Barnett and Mid-Con. The company also offers their workover rig product line in the Permian and Eagle Ford.
Cogent’s Chief Executive Officer, Chet Erwin, has built successful companies in the energy services sector for more than 31 years. He co-founded Hanover Compression Company, Valerus Compression Services, and Diverse Energy Systems. On the company’s latest gains, Erwin said, “Cogent has been active in Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana since we began coil tubing operations in February.
