ColeMarion Wins MTC Climate Initiatives Outreach
Online, September 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Oakland's ColeMarion Strategic Marketing firm will implement a branded Bay Area Climate Initiatives Marketing Outreach campaign in a collective effort to help consumers reduce the region's carbon footprint. ColeMarion has been selected to conduct ethnic markets outreach in addition to supporting lead agency RHDG, San Francisco on social marketing for the general markets strategy. The campaign is expected to roll out in 2011.
"This is very exciting" said Lori Marion, President of ColeMarion Strategic Marketing,"We've worked on behavior-change programs with many of our clients in the energy, transportation and insurance industries and know how important it is to create tools for public consumption that all consumers understand in efforts to create the impact that's required. I also think that it's great that small companies like ColeMarion are being identified to work on such large-scale collaborations with state agencies, academia and a team of marketing partners to help California reach it's reduction goals by 2020".
The Climate Initiatives Public Outreach aims to:
Encourage the public to make the behavioral choices that result in reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) and motor vehicle-related emissions.
The program is slated for a three-year education and marketing allocation with an expected budget for $7,500,000.
