College Careers Fund of Westchester Appoints New Executive Director
Dr. Pamela N. Minyard was appointed as the new Executive Director of the College Careers Fund of Westchester, Inc. (College Careers). She is the third person to serve as the chief executive officer in the forty-five year history of the organization.
Online, April 12, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Dr.Pamela Minyard was appointed as the new Executive Director of the College Careers Fund of Westchester,Inc.(College Careers). She is the third person to serve as the chief executive officer in the forty-five year history of the organization, replacing Blanche Walker of White Plains who served since 1992 and,prior to her,founder Dorothy Allensworth of Mamaroneck who served since 1967. Dr.Minyard indicated that College Careers'focus will be to"continue the long tradition of providing higher educational opportunities for students in need,in addition to providing innovative and effective leadership and career readiness programs relevant in today's world."

Dr. Minyard comes to College Careers with more than 15 years of executive leadership experience. She also served as Founder and Executive Director of GIOLAI, which trained over 1200 girls in leadership development in Westchester and the Bronx.
