Collegiate Development Football League Tabs My Sports Dreams as Fundraising Partner
My Sports Dreams to help players cover their league-related expenses
Online, May 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The Collegiate Development Football League announced today that it has named My Sports Dreams as an official fundraising partner.
Specializing in working with college and scholastic athletic programs nationwide, My Sports Dreams will provide players with the ability to raise their CDFL registration fees.
Now in its second year, the CDFL is an organized football league
designed to provide a second chance opportunity for serious and committed post-high school aged football players.
Open to players ages 18-24, the league sponsors a year-round schedule of games and camps (as well as the chance to play on their "CDFL Elite" travel team) and provides all of its athletes with personal guidance through the recruitment process - including a personal profile page consisting of general info, stats, game footage, and an overall evaluation.
"Our league gives college hopefuls a chance to gain exposure so they can play at the next level," CDFL Director George St. Lawrence said.
My Sports Dreams has plenty of experience coordinating league-wide fundraising campaigns. Organizations at all levels of sport, including the semi-professional Women's Blue Chip Basketball League and the National (Collegiate) Club Baseball Association, have partnered with the company and endorsed its "product-less" approach to raising money.
"Helping athletes take their game to the highest level is the central core of our mission," said Jordan Kern, Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing at My Sports Dreams, "and we're proud to be working with the CDFL, an organization that provides that opportunity for football players to continue their academic and athletic careers."
