Collins Electric Launches Energy Solutions Division
Online, July 19, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Collins Electrical Company, Inc (Collins) has announced the launch of an Energy Solutions Division. The Division will be run from the Collins' West Sacramento Branch office by Vice President and TEGG General Manager Craig Gini. Collins will hire several Energy Advisors over the next two years to staff the new division. "Collins has been helping our customers with energy efficiency and renewables for years, but we saw a need to do this more proactively. There are so many opportunities for businesses to adopt more energy efficient technologies or generate their own renewable energy in a cost effective way that we wanted to make sure we were doing a good job of educating our customers on the options that are available," says Gini. Collins' Energy Solutions division will encompass several different technologies including energy efficient lighting, energy maintenance monitoring, renewables such as solar, as well as electric vehicle charging stations.
Through free on-site energy audits, Collins' Energy Advisors will determine where a company can save energy and money. The solutions that Collins provides will encompass the following products and services:
• Energy-efficient lighting
