Columbus Ohio will deploy ETI's Visual Fire, a Fire Records Management System to provide responders with access to critical data for promoting the safety of fire personnel and citizens they protect.

Raleigh, NC (July 1, 2010) - The city of Columbus, Ohio will deploy Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) Visual Fire, a Fire Records Management System (Fire RMS), to provide responders with access to critical data for promoting the safety of fire personnel and the citizens they protect.

ETI was selected through its strategic business partner, Intergraph Corp., the leading global provider of public safety and security incident management software that facilitates faster emergency response and interoperability between agencies and jurisdictions to save lives and protect property.

ETI will implement Visual Fire later this year as part of a comprehensive public safety software modernization effort led by Intergraph.

The Visual Fire solution is a suite of modules that includes fire incident reporting, EMS patient care reporting, mobile field reporting, training and certification records, hydrant information and structural pre-plans, along with several additional modules that will provide the Columbus Division of Fire with modern technology to increase operational efficiency throughout the organization. The ETI solution will also seamlessly integrate with Intergraph's Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) system which is currently undergoing implementation at the Columbus Department of Public Safety Communications Center, as well as the Columbus Division of Police and Division of Fire and EMS personnel.

"For medium and large fire departments seeking world-class technologies to streamline reporting and internal processes, Emergency Technologies remains the market leader to deliver an advanced Fire & EMS Records Management solution that seamlessly integrates with other public safety solutions." said Kyle Breischaft, president and chief executive officer of Emergency Technologies, Inc. "We are honored to be part of the Intergraph team that has been selected as the public safety solutions provider for the Columbus Division of Fire."

Columbus, Ohio, the capital and largest city in the state, has a population of more than 733,203. The Columbus Division of Fire has 32 fire stations covering 212 square miles, and employs approximately 1,600 personnel.
