Come "Out for Blood" at Bobbi Brown Studios

New Jersey Young Professionals, Team Charity, and

the American Red Cross join for a night of giving like no other.

WHEN: Thursday September 17th, 2009 from 5-10 pm.

WHERE: Bobbi Brown Studios & The LOFT, an exciting event rental location offering New York City allure and atmosphere with the convenience of a Montclair locale.

WHO: The American Red Cross of Montclair-Glen Ridge-Nutley, New Jersey Young Professionals, and Team Charity.

WHY: Only 5% of the population is eligible to give blood. In the tri-state area, only about 3% do. The night's goal is to educate the young adult population on how easy it is to give back to their community and their local blood supply. To really lend a hand, they will instead be asked to lend an arm at this one of a kind event.

The Montclair Glen Ridge Nutley chapter has partnered with New Jersey Young Professionals and Team Charity to host a blood drive networking night to educate and inspire young adults to save lives with a single blood donation while creating new connections for young professionals.

The chapter hopes to put a younger and fresh spin on their 128 year old organization with this cocktail party inspired event. There will be photo opportunities with Buddy the Blood Drop, a "Mocktail Lounge" sponsored by Glaceau VitaminWater, and NYC based funk band The Stingers will entertain throughout the night.

Swag bags packed with goodies will be offered to the first 50 blood donors. Raffle tickets will be sold to support Red Cross services that the community counts on in times of disaster. Raffle prizes include an autographed Yogi Berra baseball, a pair of tickets to Le Scandal Cabaret of NYC, an entrepreneurial resume revamp with certified professional resume writer Michele Dagle of Editorial Studio of Montclair, dinner for two at Zereoue, NYC's premier French bistro, a gift card for dinner at Lidia Bastianch's NYC eatery Becco along with her autographed cookbook, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Broadway tickets from AllShows.com, a gift certificate to Jinx Proof Tattoo of Montclair, two tickets to the Dominican Republic from World Ventures, and much more.
