Comical Hunting Safety Cartoons To Be Broadcast On Wild TV

Hunter Ed™ and Buddy Buck™ to share their humorous hunting safety lessons in over 10 million homes on youth hunting program, "The Coyote Kid", which begins airing this fall on the Wild TV Network.

This fall, Hunter Ed™ & Buddy Buck™ will be broadcast into over 10 million homes on Canada's Wild TV Network. The 30-second educational cartoons will be placed within the body of the new Coyote Kid program, starring 12-year-old hunting phenom, Aedan Dunning.

"The Hunter Ed Adventures™ series was created to be a fun and entertaining way to instill basic safety knowledge into young hunters," said Hunter Ed™ series Executive Producer John Jackson. "Aedan is an amazing young hunter and his TV show will have tremendous appeal to young hunters, so it was a perfect fit for our cartoons."

Hunter Ed Adventures™ cartoons cover a wide variety of safety topics. In one episode, Hunter Ed™ carelessly leaves his finger on the trigger while walking through the woods, and accidentally shoot a bee's nest.

In another episode, entitled "Never Shoot Toward A Road", Hunter Ed™ finds himself in some trouble when he misses a deer, and shoots out a window in a passing vehicle.

In "Always Store Your Food Properly", Hunter Ed™ discovers that his tent may keep the mosquitoes out, but it will take proper storage of his food to keep the bears out.

Hunter Ed Adventures™ topics include Firearms, Archery, ATV's, Ladders & Tree Stands, Hunting Etiquettes & Laws, Ice Fishing Safety and more. Last week, an Independence Day cartoon was released that reminded viewers to be safe when handling fireworks. See the video here:

"We don't just focus on firearm safety," added Jackson, "We're about being safe and smart in all aspects of enjoying the great outdoors, whether it be hunting and fishing, or boating and trail-riding. There are too many avoidable injuries and deaths in these sports every year. We're passionate about raising the overall enjoyment of outdoor sports by raising the overall safety."
