Online, June 8, 2011 (Newswire.com) - As the 2010 Census reports 52 million people in our country speak Spanish as their native language, local bilingual educator and business owner Beth Butler - better known as Boca Beth - jump starts the language learning for children of all ages with a community concert Friday, June 24, 2011.
The fiesta of music and movement fun begins at 7 pm at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort located at 1160 Gulf Boulevard in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Every child in attendance will receive a free bilingual book from Ms. Butler's company as well as be eligible to win a backpack full of music CDs, DVDs, and musical shakers that bring Spanish and English together the fun way.
Boca Beth affirms that Spanish is the most requested language program in the U.S. as today's savvy parents and teachers realize our children need to be better prepared for this global economy. "This family event will raise the awareness that it can be fun, easy and affordable to raise bilingual children and create lifetime language learners," Ms. Butler pronounces.
