Companies Made Simple Look at 2013's Company Formation Hotspots
New company formations were at an all-time high in the UK last year with more than 500,000 companies being formed.
Online, March 14, 2014 (Newswire.com) - New company formations were at an all-time high in the UK last year with more than 500,000 companies being formed. At Companies Made Simple, the company formation service provided by Made Simple, we thought we'd dig a little deeper and find out where these companies were formed. And so our 2013 UK Company Formation Hotspot infographic was conceived.
We've worked out:
• Where in the UK the most companies were formed
• Where in England the most companies were formed
• Where in Scotland the most companies were formed
• Where in Wales the most companies were formed
• Where in London the most companies were formed
• What locations have seen the largest increase and decrease in formations
Why not Northern Ireland?
We were able to find location information by looking at the registered office postcodes used by each company. Interestingly, Northern Ireland uses one standard postcode; BT, therefore we were unable to delve deeper into where the Northern Ireland companies were formed.

The UK's Company Formation Hotspots
Shortly after a customer has formed a company with us, Feefo email them requesting that they rate our service as either "Bad", "Poor", "Good" or "Excellent". Feefo then request that the customer leave some feedback about the service. We then have the option to respond accordingly. This feedback is then made public on Feefo.
