Competing for a Cause: Miss Jetset Magazine Donates Over $300,000
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 30, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Miss Jetset Magazine recently made their largest annual donation to date, with an impressive $302,288.59 contribution to the established childhood cancer charity, the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.
Each year, the popular luxury brand Jetset Magazine hosts a worldwide online fan voting competition in search of the next Miss Jetset Magazine. The winner of Miss Jetset takes home $25,000 and also receives their very own luxury-inspired photoshoot for a feature on the cover of Jetset Magazine. For almost two months, thousands of fashionable females vied for the title of Miss Jetset, until winner Janeilla Burns was crowned the official Miss Jetset 2020 on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
At the end of each competition, a minimum of 25% of the competition proceeds is donated directly to the B+ Foundation. This year, Miss Jetset Magazine was able to make its largest donation to date in the form of a check worth more than $300,000. These funds will be used to offer financial support to families of children with cancer, fund research into cures and advancements in treatment protocols for childhood cancer, and to increase overall awareness. Since 2016, the Miss Jetset competition has donated over $965,000 to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.
