Computer Repair Company Collects for Charity
Computer company helps area families through collections for local charity.
Online, November 27, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Through the months of November, December and January, Tech Oracles is using computer repair to help local charity ECHO (the Emergency Care Help Organization). They are also giving something back to their customers.
ECHO is in desperate need of winter coats and blankets for the many, many people they help. While local people often want to donate items, not everyone has the time to take donations over to ECHO's Parsons Avenue location in Brandon, Florida.
In a bid to ease the situation and help people in distress, Tech Oracles is collecting donations for ECHO and taking them to the charity for any customer who calls for service: whether repair, virus removal, or general maintenance.
After the tech services the customer's computer, he'll take the donation item or items and give the customer ten dollars off the service call.
Every week, Tech Oracles will take the collected donations to ECHO so ECHO's volunteers can distribute the items to those in financial need.
While Tech Oracles is hoping to collect as many of the much-needed blankets and winter coats as possible, they will also collect any other donations a customer wants to give. ECHO is still short on food donations and donations of new clothing (socks and underwear in all sizes).
Tech Oracles provides computer repair and support to individuals as well as small and medium-sized businesses. So if a business wanted to gather donations from all of it's employees, Tech Oracles would also offer to collect those donations during a business service call.
If customers have questions about this charity effort or need computer support, please call Tech Oracles at 813-777-4973 or email them at [email protected].
