Connect Focuses on Goals for 2015

The management team at Connect has been establishing goals for the interactive marketing firm in order to build on their successes from 2014. As the leadership team drafts their plans, they've identified best practices to share.

“Our managers have been studying how to develop goals as well as strategies for achieving them, and we’ve gained some valuable insights into what is most effective,” said Rachel, the company’s director of operations. “The key is developing long-term goals that are distinguished from short-term objectives. Long-term goals can be broader, while those that are shorter term should be specific, action-oriented, and measurable.”

As Connect’s managers engage in planning, Rachel noted that they focus on realistic objectives that can be attained within a set timeframe. “The last thing you want to do is set yourself up for disappointment because your goals are unattainable,” she explained. “You want to raise the bar with your available or obtainable resources in mind.”

Team input is also beneficial, according to Rachel. “Our associates have knowledge of what is working or not working in the field,” she said. “Ultimately, they are our best resources for information on how we can enhance our programs and services to meet our goals. We seriously consider their feedback and experiences as we review the past year and focus on what we need to accomplish in the future.”

Connects Leadership Makes Plans for Expansion in 2015

As a company, Rachel stated that the main focus for this year will be on overall growth in every area. “We had a good year in 2014, and we want to continue to build on that.
