Connecticut Community Care, Inc. Eastern Regional Office's Open House Well Received by Franklin Community

Connecticut Community Care, Inc. (CCCI) invited the community to tour its new location, meet its staff and learn about its services. Franklin First Selectman Richard Matters and CCCI President Molly Rees Gavin were in attendance.

FRANKLIN, CONN., April 16, 2010 - Connecticut Community Care, Inc. Eastern Regional Office held its open house April 15, inviting the community to tour its new location at 108 New Park Avenue, Franklin, meet its staff, and learn about its services in eastern Connecticut.

CCCI Eastern Regional Director Cindy Kovak introduced First Selectman Richard Matters who welcomed CCCI to Franklin. Molly Rees Gavin, president of CCCI, welcomed guests and shared news that CCCI has been recognized in The Non-Profit Times as the number one non-profit to work for in the U.S. in the medium-sized employer category. CCCI was ranked fifth overall.

"In addition to welcoming people to our new location, the open house was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the broad network of people we work with every day in meeting the needs of the elders and individuals with disabilities we serve," said Cindy Kovak.

Attending the CCCI open house were representatives from service provider agencies, the Department of Social Services, Elderly Protective Services, Senior Resources, Alzheimer's Association, Disabilities Network, legislators, senior centers, nursing facilities and community friends and family.
