In this position, Mr. Rydell will focus on the strategic promotion of BenefitSpan™, anticipating the future needs of CHT's clients and offering them break-through solutions that optimize operational efficiency and significantly reduce health related costs.

Mr. Rydell is a versatile, results-driven senior leader with broad experience in pre-paid debit, banking, insurance and software industries. His areas of expertise include business case development, product development, operations and implementation, day-to-day customer service and client relationship building. Prior to joining CHT, Mr. Rydell worked as a consultant for his own firm, Acadia Business Solutions, LLC, helping growth oriented companies with product design, business and operational architecture, project management, product marketing, and vendor relationships. Mr. Rydell also worked as Vice President of Product Development at TransCard Custom Prepaid Debit Solutions ("Transcard") and as Senior Director of Product Development and FSA/HRA Operations at UnitedHealth Group ("UnitedHealth"). While at UnitedHealth, Mr. Rydell secured contracts with high level pharmacy benefit managers, including Medco and Caremark; orchestrated and obtained more than $2.5 million in service-level agreements for business and system performance with external vendors and internal business partners; and led the executive team at UnitedHealth in a lobbying effort with the IRS to amend the Tax-Advantaged Debit Card substantiation compliance regulations.
