'Contact Lost' Wraps Filming
Online, October 7, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Contact Lost stars Tony Cook (Welcome to Purgatory) and Stevie Raine (Superman:Requiem) as two lone survivors of a plane crash who are stranded without communication hundreds of miles away from any hope of help, who must try to keep each others spirits high in the face of adversity, and with life-threatening injuries. The film is based on a true story, it is a harrowing tale of love, survival, friendship, fear and tragedy. 'Contact Lost' is now in post production, with a release date set for early 2015.
Director Gene Fallaize said of filming "The set was just fantastic, to be given access to a real plane and to destroy it to make it look like a real plane crash - as opposed to shooting parts of a wooden frame in a studio - not only added huge production value to the picture, but also it helped our cast really buy into the characters and the desperation of their situation, which will really come across on screen." Fallaize has worked with both actors before on the award winning feature, Superman: Requiem. This working relationships will continue to the next feature.
Gene Fallaize is now moving on to the final stages of preproduction of his fantasy epic "Welcome To Purgatory," who along with executive producer Scott Spiegel (Evil Dead II) and other special guests will be announcing further cast at London’s MCM Comic Con on Saturday October 25th.
Victoria Fallaize produced Contact Lost for Cupsogue Pictures, which was written and directed by Gene Fallaize.
