Continuous Vaccine Temperature Monitoring Puts MadgeTech on the Front Lines
WARNER, N.H., December 8, 2020 (Newswire.com) - MadgeTech is excited to announce the launch of two temperature monitoring systems designed specifically to meet the strict storage requirements surrounding the new COVID-19 vaccines. Capable of measuring and recording temperatures as low as -100°C, the MadgeTech VFC2000 and VTMS data logging systems come with all the tools needed to ensure vaccine distribution and storage plans are operating in compliance.
A simple solution for continuous vaccine temperature monitoring, the VFC2000 displays current, minimum, and maximum readings as well as a battery level indicator. Equipped with an LED indicator, the VFC2000 reminds users to conduct the required 24-hour temperature check. If temperatures fluctuate out-of-range, the VFC2000 will trigger an audio and visual alert.
The VFC2000 system includes:
- Thermocouple Temperature Data Logger
- ISO 17025 Calibration Certificate (optional)
- Type K Thermocouple
- Glycol Bottle (optional)
- Power Supply
For applications that require real-time monitoring, the VTMS is a wireless vaccine temperature monitoring system that eliminates the need for manual temperature monitoring. Customizable features include user-programmable alarms; the VTMS will alert or notify users via email or text when thresholds are breached, allowing users to take immediate action.
The VTMS system includes:
- Wireless Thermocouple Temperature Data Logger
- ISO 17025 Calibration Certificate (optional)
- Type K Thermocouple
- Glycol Bottle (optional)
- Power Supply
For easy reporting and recordkeeping, both the VTMS and the VFC2000 comes standard with the MadgeTech 4 Software at no cost. To aid in the compliance of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, users have the option to upgrade to the MadgeTech 4 Secure Software at an additional cost.
