Contrary to Popular Belief: Oil and Earth Day Do Go Together

Online, April 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Green Garage, a Colorado-based comprehensive auto care and repair center, is offering eco-friendly Earth Day specials all week long in the name of saving the planet and loving our cars at the same time.

Auto service and repair is ordinarily an environmentally-unfriendly business, but Green Garage's processes are safe for the planet and increase fuel economy, regardless of the car you drive. For example, Green Garage's tire rotation and nitrogen fill works to increase fuel economy from three percent up to ten percent, and a green oil change uses 70 percent less oil and 50 percent less oil filters in two years.

What: Specials vary by day and apply to both Denver and Boulder locations. Specials include:
Two free green oil changes will be given away per day, per location from April 16-20: Special is first come, first serve. Appointments may be made on the spot, or vouchers will be given for later redemption.
Green Garage is offering free motor oil recycling all week to those who drop off used oil at the shops.
A free tire pressure check will also be offered with a discount on nitrogen air fill on Tuesday, April 17 from 11am to 3pm. Visitors at each store can receive a free tire pressure check and voucher for $10 off a nitrogen tire fill to be redeemed immediately or on a later date.
