Core Telecom Supports Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust Fundraising Event

Core Telecom, one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialised telephony solutions to UK businesses and specialist in non-geographical numbers, is the lead sponsor of a special event to raise money for Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.

Core Telecom, one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialised telephony solutions to UK businesses and specialist in non-geographical numbers, is the lead sponsor of a special event to raise money for a children's cancer charity.

The Croft Parents' Association (CPA) May Ball in Warwickshire is raising funds for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, which is now the largest charity for brain tumours in the UK. The event and its very special cause were brought to the attention of Paul Turner, Core Telecom's Managing Director who is also part of the CPA.

Paul said: "Brain tumours are often considered the forgotten cancer but the truth is that more children die from brain tumours than any other cancer. The trust relies heavily on charitable support and doesn't receive any Government funding so we are delighted to support this event with our sponsorship".

In the last year, Core Telecom has made significant charitable donations in order to; aid research into diabetes (Diabetes UK) and cancer (Cancer Research UK and Brown Dog), help orphaned children in Malawi (Raising Malawi) and fund new community facilities (Full Life Church in Maltby).

Core Telecom's Chief Executive, Mahmood Mazhar, is passionate about supporting charities and said, "Given the current economic climate, it is more than ever for businesses to support charities and I wholeheartedly support and encourage my team to raise money for any worthy cause. The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust is an inspiring organisation and the CPA should be commended for organising what promises to be a fabulous fundraising event"
