Cosmos Sports Marketing In New York
Cosmos has continued its expansion in North America by networking with New York based teams and organisations.
Online, January 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Cosmos Sports continues to branch out in North America and emphasized this by working with many New York based organizations and teams. Whether it involved major leagues such as the NHL or minor/amateur organizations, Cosmos Sports provided great insight into the role organizations have within Sports Marketing now and in the future.
In 2010, Cary Kaplan, President of Cosmos Sports Marketing, provided a free two hour Sports Revenue Generation training seminar attended by league representatives from the NHL, NBA, MLS, NFL and AHL. Cary discussed such topics as manufacturing urgency, proper use of a testimonial, perception is reality, marketing vs sales, relentless and polite, and winning isn't everything.
In the same year, Cary presented to the National Hockey League (NHL) at the league's annual two day Ticket Service and Retention Workshop. The meetings were attended by representatives from 28 of the 30 NHL teams. Cary's topic was entitled "Train the Trainers" and focused on how "Fan and Employee Empowerment" are critical to running an effective team off the ice. The consulting presentation concluded with Cosmos Sports offering a complementary two day Sports Revenue Generation training for one lucky team. The New Jersey Devils won the draw and will look to bring Cary in the new year.
In 2011, Cary then delivered a workshop in Cleveland Ohio to over fifty AHL executives, of which included the Rochester Americans and Knighthawks. The workshop primarily focused on Sports Business, Sports Revenue Generation, Outsourcing Ticket Sales and other Sports Business. The workshop gained positive recognition from the executives who attended.
