The countdown for the last phase to accept the applications has begun. For the first time, the Federal Skilled Worker Program has started reporting number of applications received. FSWP is the biggest immigration program of Canada, which was reopened in May 2013. The applicants of the Quebec Skilled Worker Program are also facing pressure to fulfill the application requisites before the last submission date (July 31, 2013). After this, the current rules of immigration for Quebec will expire.

Best Time to Be At Canada
At present, the situation is quite exciting for the skilled workers interested in immigrating to Canada. According to David Cohen, attorney, the most in demand programs related to permanent residency is set to open soon and the applications will be accepted from all over the world. However, the period for this program is very narrow. Cohen has also added that individuals entering Canada under the skilled worker visa program are better prepared for making smooth transition to their new home. This is because; the time is just right for the motivated and eligible Canada immigration applicants right now.

Federal And Skilled Worker Program
This year the FSWP opened on May 4, 2013. The reporting on the total number of applications that are accepted for consideration has just started. The Citizenship and Immigration Canada is reviewing these applications. This year the intake cap on FSWP applications is 5000. An applicant is expected to possess experience in either of the 24 occupations under which he has applied for. Maximum 300 applications are to be accepted under each occupation for further processing.

According to The Citizenship and Immigration Canada reports, as on June 26, 2013 mere 65 applications had been submitted. The Financial and Investment Analysts is the most popular amongst all the occupations with 28 application submissions. The program will close once the caps are touched but as of now, the actual number of applications taken for review by the CIC is not disclosed and thus, no fixed day/date regarding close of FSWP application can be speculated.

Still Ample Time To Apply
Canada offers entry to the foreign skilled workers through 60 different Canada immigration programs. Hence, although time is running fast, there is still ample scope left for the aspiring eligible applicants to submit immigration visa applications.
