COVID-19 Unit Opening at Bend Transitional Care

BEND, Ore., December 8, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Bend Transitional Care, a skilled nursing community part of the Avamere Family of Companies, is opening a dedicated COVID-19 unit in collaboration with the state of Oregon on Dec. 8, 2020, for patients and residents with positive or presumed positive cases of COVID-19. 

The 16-bed unit provides an exclusive location for individuals to receive skilled nursing care and transition from hospital to home while recovering from the virus. The COVID-19 recovery unit will follow recommended quarantine guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
