Addition of Langdale Further Extends Cox's Production Platform in Southeast

Cox Industries announced today that it has formally completed the acquisition of certain assets of Langdale Forest Products, one of the Southeast’s largest wood utility pole manufacturers. The acquisition includes both the purchase of Langdale production facilities in Sweetwater, Tennessee and certain other operating agreements related to Langdale’s facilities in Valdosta, Georgia and Chauncey, Georgia.

“We are very pleased to have consummated this acquisition between both of our companies,” said Cox Industries CEO and President, Mikee Johnson. “Like Cox, Langdale is a widely respected producer of quality wood utility poles and marine construction products and we welcome their employees and their expertise into our rapidly growing business. We look forward to continuing to serve Langdale’s customers with a wide range of products and services while extending our production footprint into new geographic areas.”
