CPS Joins The Campaign To Raise The Profile Of Missing Children
As part of our corporate community policy, CPS has joined a European initiative by putting pictures and biographical details of missing children on our 404 Not Found website pages.
Online, December 20, 2012 (Newswire.com) - When visitors reach deleted content, the otherwise empty pages now show the details of missing children.
Across the European Union, thousands of children disappear every year and the NotFound project, created by Missing Children Europe, Child Focus, the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children and several other European organisations aims to raise awareness of the issue to help find the Children who are missing.
The project got underway as a pilot test in Belgium, but since Missing Children Europe is an umbrella group with members in 20 European countries, they expect it to grow quickly.
Spreading a message is that simple. This piece of clever marketing shows that an idea doesn't have to be complicated. The time spend online per person is increasing, so why not make better use of the abandoned digital space. Just like graffiti in real life.
