Online, June 3, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Palm Bay, Florida Bay - Local resident Larry Lawton has published his first book, Gangster Redemption. The book was co-written by Lawton and a seven time New York Times best-selling Author Peter Golenbock. Two years into the project and frustrated with agents and publishers, Larry Lawton turned them all down and formed his own publishing company - LL Research & Publishing.
Available now in print and for Amazon Kindle users, Lawton will host a book signing celebration on Thursday, June 21 from 6pm till 8pm at Matt's Casbah restaurant located in Downtown Melbourne. The book retails for $14.95 for print edition and $8.95 for Kindle download from Amazon.
Lawton stated "My goal was to be straight forward and make sure people understood that no matter what they did they can change and make a difference in this world. I never made excuses for what I did and never will. Our past makes us who we are, the good, bad and ugly." Larry holds nothing back providing vivid details of his life of crime, his life in prison and upon his release his dedication to working with America's teens and young adults; telling them the truth about prison life, what they will lose, avoiding and dissolving bad associations and helping them to turn their lives around.
