Crossedsabers Reviews recently announced the first annual Feel The Force Awards, an online fan awards honoring the best in Star Wars fan created films, fiction and art. Today the Feel The Force Awards are pleased to announce that the website Almostnerdy.com has agreed to become a sponsor!

Almost Nerdy is a site that covers everything from movies, comic books, webcomics, sci-fi, TV shows, cosplay, gaming, conventions, collectibles, nerd humor, zombies, general nerd news, and anything else considered to be nerdy. The Feel The Force Awards are scheduled to be held on Star Wars Day May 4, 2014 and will be judged by a team of special guest judges from within the Star Wars community (To be determined and named before January 1, 2014).

Submissions will be open for entry from January 1, 2014 and all Star Wars fan fiction, fan films and fan art that was created in 2013 and 2014 can be entered. Winners will be awarded the Feel The Force Award a medal that will be specially created for these awards. Other prizes may also be awarded, and information about future prizes will be released on or before January 1, 2014. The submission cutoff date is March 1, 2014 after which official judging will begin.
