Crossroads Consulting, LLC: The National Economy May Be Weak, But We're Still Going Strong...

Former President of Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Teri Rotella and CPA Michael Trimbach, join Crossroads Consulting, LLC

Despite the gloomy report stating that the national economy added only 80,000 new jobs nationwide in June, certainly a major concern for a business that makes its money from employment; Crossroads Consulting, LLC, an employment agency and search firm in Monroe, CT reports that the demands from their clients and their growth projections inspired them to expand their staff by adding Former Monroe (CT) Chamber of Commerce President, Teri Rotella and CPA Michael Trimbach to their management team.

Mitch Beck, a former radio personality and standup comedian for over 20 years is the Founder and President of Crossroads Consulting, LLC. "Despite the horrible numbers coming from the government regarding the nation's economy, our business continues to experience higher than average activity. To manage the increasing workload, we searched for and found two incredible people to help us handle the increased demands both for better talent from our clients and the best jobs for the people seeking work. I'm thrilled that we have been successful in finding these two outstanding professionals who have the right temperament and personality. It is with great excitement and privilege that I announce the hiring of Teri Rotella and Michael Trimbach. Both bring a diversity of talent, experience and a passion for people that fits right in with our business model which is basically fancy-talk for they laugh at my stupid jokes."

Rotella, 51, joins Crossroads Consulting as the Director of Business Development. She joins the company after spending the previous three years as President of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her time with the Chamber, Rotella spent over fifteen years in the banking industry, with the last five as a Branch Manager for Gateway Bank before it eventually became Bank of America. For the past ten years, in addition to her Chamber duties, Rotella has operated her own custom jewelry making business which will now take a back seat to her responsibilities with Crossroads. "Mitch has such a unique vision of recruiting and his compassion and good humor seemed like a natural fit for me. The company motto, 'Putting the human back into human resources' was something that I believe not only on a personal level but on a professional one as well. It's something I think we need a whole lot more of. So many people out there, because of the high unemployment, are being treated like they're inventory and not human beings. I've seen that first hand. Few are getting the dignity they deserve. We are going to go out of our way to make sure they do. I'm getting the opportunity now to use and expand the networking skills I've developed with the Chamber and to take that to new levels by helping others who need it. For me, this was a great opportunity to mix all of the things that are important to me personally and professionally and I thank Mitch for the chance to join his company."

Trimbach, 61, has spent his professional life in Accounting. After attaining his CPA in 1981, Trimbach's experience has ranged from regional public accounting firms to the Big 8. After leaving public accounting Trimbach went from International Audit for Texaco, Inc., until eventually rising to become a Global Controller for an international commodity trading company. Trimbach will be Crossroads' Director of Business Strategy and Recruitment where he will oversee the company's expansion initiative, as well as leading the way for Crossroads' management recruiting team. "Mitch and I met in of all places, Norwalk (CT) Hospital. We were both there for tests and got to talking while waiting for our results. Fortunately we were both fine, but I was attracted to the idea that a company could focus on treating employment in such a light-hearted way. Like so many others who are so used to the stale corporate mentality that something this different was such a breath of fresh air and so very appealing that I thought it would play well on a national scale. For me, joining Crossroads was a terrific challenge and a great opportunity to do something very different. I'm grateful to Mitch for the faith he has in me for this job. What a great feeling it is to be excited to get up and go to work every day. I look forward to helping so many others get that feeling too."

Beck also announced a special program for US Military veterans. "I believe we don't do NEARLY enough to support our troops, especially those returning home from war. Many of the resumes that come in from our Vets just aren't right for corporations to process. We want to help. Any military veteran who wants their resume evaluated and if necessary, a basic edit, will no longer pay our regular price which can run at least $100 and up. Instead we will honor their service by just charging them just $17.76. It's our way of saying thank-you."
