Crossroads Ford Lincoln Announces Enhancements to the 2013 Lincoln MKS and MKT Models

Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Crossroads Ford Lincoln has recently announced that the 2013 Lincoln MKS and MKT will feature new enhancements and will be available at their Frankfort, KY dealership. These two models are the first of many Lincolns that will get a fresh makeover in the 2013 model year.

The 2013 MKT will feature some styling tweaks that make this seven-seat crossover a little more appealing. The new model will have a redesigned grill, panoramic sunroof, improved MyLincoln Touch system and new 20-inch wheels. It will also drive on a 3.5-liter, Ecoboost twin-turbo, direct-injection V6 engine that generates 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque.

This MKT also received some new safety advancements. It features a new adaptive damper system and Lincoln Drive Control which will help improve suspension, steering and engine responsiveness. Lane departure warning and electric steering will help drivers stay consistently in their respective lane, with audible warning and steering vibrations when needed. The 2013 model's stronger brakes, blind spot warning, cross traffic alert system, driver alert system and inflatable seatbelts make this MKT the safest one yet.

The 2013 MKS also received a makeover this year. It features many similar MKT upgrades such as Lincoln's new adaptive damper system and Lincoln Drive Control. The Ti-VCT 3.7-liter V6 engine generates 305 horsepower and 280 lb-ft. of torque.

The interior is all new in the 2013 MKS. It includes Supple Bridge of Weir leather, fine detailing, heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel and a spacious back seat. The trunk also now has a wider opening, making it easier to load large cargo.
