Cushman & Wakefield Industrial Cyclists Set for Courage Classic 2015, July 18-20
AURORA, Colo., July 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Each year for a quarter century, hundreds of cyclists from across North America pedal their way through the scenic Rocky Mountains to raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado. Once again this year, on July 18-20, volunteers from Cushman & Wakefield Industrial will ride with the team of event sponsor Prologis. Joining the team will be agent Carlos Lujan of the Juarez, Mexico office and Drew McManus, senior director in Denver.
“Cushman & Wakefield Industrial is thrilled to support this tremendous cause again this year, with a great industry partner, Prologis, which has raised more than $900,000 for the hospital,” said John Morris, Head, Cushman & Wakefield Industrial. “We are so very proud of the great work of the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of Children’s Hospital Colorado and, more importantly, the enduring spirit and tenacity of the patients and families we can support through events like the Courage Classic.”
Last year, the 25th Courage Classic raised a record $2.9 million in support of the nearly 200,000 infants, kids and teens served by the Children’s Hospital Colorado, located in Aurora. It is the region’s only all-inclusive, non-profit pediatric hospital, and relies on the contributions of its supporters, including the cyclists of Courage Classic. As many as 2,000 cyclists are anticipated for this year’s event, which will end at scenic Copper Mountain.
Joining the Rosemont, Ill.-based Morris as part of the support team for the two Cushman & Wakefield cyclists are: Michael Schaeffer, Shawn Mobley, and James Carpenter from the Chicago office; Jamie Kishel, Rosemont, Ill.; Stewart Calhoun, Atlanta; Jeff Chiate, Irvine, Cal.; Mike Davis, Tampa; Gary Gabriel, East Rutherford, N.J.; and Bethany Bailey, Seattle.
