Custard Boutique Grand Opening

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Custard Boutique, an exclusive designer retailer founded in Savannah, Ga., is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new retail location in Greenville, S.C. on Monday, September 10, 2012.

Conveniently located at 718-A South Main St. in Greenville's stylish West End, Custard Boutique will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12-5 p.m.

Founded by owner Tara Kirkland in 2008, Custard Boutique has garnered a loyal following in Savannah for its eclectic collection of designer brands and styles by emerging local designers. Custard Boutique features clothing and accessory items made in the U.S. with eco-friendly materials.

"I love Greenville and am thrilled to extend the Custard brand to the city's historic West End," said Tara Kirkland, founder and owner of Custard Boutique. "We plan to offer fresh, fun designer clothing brands that take savvy women from the boardroom to ladies' night out."

Custard Boutique boasts a variety of designer brands including Earnest Sewn, Buffalo by David Benton, Super Maggie, By Boe, Tano, Early Jewelry, Jeffrey Campbell, and Miss Oops. In addition, ultra-exclusive designer brands such as Funktional, Boy NYC, Gillian Julius, Level 99, Sold, Betsy & Iya and Amour Vert are also available.

Fresh, cutting-edge designers are particularly important to the evolution of the world-wide fashion industry. Custard Boutique is careful to keep a finger on the pulse when it comes to incorporating hot, up and coming local designers such as Emily Bargeron's label Mamie Ruth and Abby Sue Barber's eco-friendly handmade jewelry line, Bellum Designs.

"Custard Boutique will also feature some of Savannah's most talented designers at our new shop in Greenville, including jewelry from ZIA Boutique and handbags from Satchel," said Kirkland. "We look forward to developing new partnerships with local designers that will be sold exclusively in our shop in Greenville as well."

With a mission to offer local women a selection of the world's most exclusive designers and build upon the "Buy Local" philosophy, Kirkland helped create Savannah Fashion Week and served as the committee chair in 2011 and 2012. Savannah Fashion Week has since become a popular annual fashion extravaganza showcasing Savannah's finest independent boutique retailers.

Custard Boutique's Greenville location is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m. For information about Custard Boutique, please call 828-458-1369, email [email protected], or visit www.custardboutique.com.
