Custom Pool Foundation for the Breakers of Swan Bay
BUCHANAN, Tenn., May 12, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Nearly six inches of settlement caused a community swimming pool for an al- service marina to lose up to 1,000 gallons of water per day, calling for immediate action. Ram Jack Tennessee created a strong foundation for the new community swimming pool to be built for the Breakers of Swan Bay; so successfully in fact that Mr. Poe of Poe Engineering said, “Job well done.”
Over the last six years, a local swimming pool in the Breakers of Swan Bay community had suffered severely from settlement. Sitting on fill material, the pool had sunk nearly six inches. Realizing that foundation work was needed, Poe Engineering, the company to evaluate the situation, contacted Ram Jack Tennessee to install new-construction helical piles before the foundation was placed for the new pool.
Over the course of two months, the existing pool was removed and a new one was put in its place. To support the new pool, Ram Jack installed 48 helical new-construction piles. In addition, 29 helical piles were used with a custom-designed bracket to support the new plumbing lines underneath the pool deck.
In the end, the new pool was left strongly supported for years to come. In fact, the project was so successful that Mr. Poe of Poe Engineering commented, “Job well done.”
