CVision Launches Glasses-free 3D at Computex 2013

CVision Technology launches auto-stereoscopic, glasses-free 3D displays at Computex 2013.

CVision Technology will be showing their newest auto-stereoscopic, glasses-free 3D displays at Computex 2013, Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 3, Booth G-0644, on June 4th-8th in Taipei, Taiwan. CVision 3D will show off glasses-free, full stereo 3D displays, in a multitude of sizes ranging from 5" to 21.5". All will show full 3D stereoscopic effect without the use of glasses.

CVision's 3D technology is based on a patent-pending parallax barrier film, the first of its kind. Previous technology required the use of a separate glass TN LCD panel to produce the 3D effect, resulting in high material and manufacturing cost. CVision's 3D displays feature full quality 3D images and videos with ultra-wide viewing angles of over 160 degrees from all sides. The parallax barrier film is combined with firmware and application packages to display all major formats of content in 3D. CVision's 3D technology is scalable with higher resolutions, producing brilliant 3D effects in 2048x1560 retina displays and higher resolutions. CVision Technology plans to offer their first 3D tablets for pre-order on June 14th.
"We are looking forward to present the next generation of 3D without glasses at Computex," said Ted Fang, President of CVision Technology. "Please come see it for yourself and you will believe in our vision for this market." Please visit CVision's booth at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 3, Booth G-0644 to see the world's first scalable film based glasses-free 3D displays live in action. Computex is one of the world's largest trade shows for IT technology and consumer electronics hosted by TAITRA. Computex hosted over 1800 exhibitors and 120,000 attendees in 2012. This will be CVision's first year at Computex.

CVision Technology is a startup company founded by Mr. Ted Fang focused on optical technology research. Dr. Cader Shih, CVision's CTO, has over a decade's experience in researching optical physics and applications. In particular, Shih has worked on auto-stereoscopic 3D technology for over 6 years, resulting in the world's first and most advanced glasses-free 3D film currently on the market. CVision Technology is based in China and Taiwan, with offices in Hong Kong.
