Using the flexibility offered by SharePoint we provided Configurable approval group levels. The forms designed using InfoPath were exact replica of the existing Manual forms.

The site provided alert mechanism for sending reminders to all stakeholders whenever action took place or the request. Automatic escalation and assignment that kept track of real time scenarios.
Activity logs that kept track of Workflow history each time application is checked in or checked out.

The system was implemented well in time and required minimal employee training.

The end result was faster application processing with minimal turnaround time.
