D3 Solutions Talks Travel Opportunities, Seeks Fresh Talent
The frontrunners at D3 Solutions recently returned from a leadership event where they learned new business strategies while networking. The firm's director discussed the benefits of travel and the importance of hiring the right people.
Portland, OR, February 25, 2015 (Newswire.com) - “Here at D3 Solutions, we are determined to create an environment that nurtures and empowers our talented executives individually while also encouraging a collaborative spirit. Only through teamwork are we able to provide the world-class promotions that have made us successful,” explained Cassie, the firm’s director of operations. “We take some pretty strong steps to create this cooperative culture, which include travel opportunities for our high achievers at least every quarter.”
When Cassie has the opportunity to travel with her team members, there are a few steps she teaches them to take. “We often hire graduates right out of college, and for some of them this is their first time traveling. I try to give them a few pointers to make the excursions as pleasant as possible.”
"We don't offer jobs here - we offer careers. What's more, our opportunities don't come with a glass ceiling; the only limits our people ever encounter are ones they set for themselves."

For example, when flying, she teaches her new people how to spot seasoned travelers in the airport. “The people with slip-off shoes are pros at flying – when you see them in line, that’s who you get behind. Avoid the family of five with a stroller,” Cassie grinned. Also, reading material is essential, because flight delays are almost inevitable. Perhaps most importantly, however, she tells everyone to bring some earphones, so they can listen to music and also cancel out background noise for some necessary rest.
Cassie and a few of her hand-selected frontrunners recently returned from an invite-only national leadership conference. “This was a great experience, with top marketers from across the United States and Canada showing up to share their knowledge. Not only did we learn a great deal, but we also had the chance to network with a number of advertising and sales professionals. These are contacts that can dramatically impact a career, and I’m glad that I was able to take some of my team with me to this event.”
D3 Solutions’ Director Discusses Upcoming Talent Search
According to Cassie, hiring great talent is one of the keys to her success. “D3 Solutions is an organization composed of exceptional individuals. Hiring good people who work well with each other and complement our culture is one of the ways we ensure the future prosperity of our firm.”
With that in mind, Cassie stated that she will be looking for some new professionals to join her team in the coming year. She pointed to some very ambitious expansion plans she has for the company, noting that, in order to make her goals a reality, she would need more associates who shared her vision.
“We don’t offer jobs here – we offer careers,” added the director. “What’s more, our opportunities don’t come with a glass ceiling; the only limits our people ever encounter are ones they set for themselves.” She encourages anyone with a passion for promotion and a drive to succeed to fill out an application on D3 Solutions’ website.
