Dana Nelson's HealthPlus Pharmacy Expanding Into Next Generation Healthcare

Online, December 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Due for completion in mid April 2011, Dana Nelson's HealthPlus Pharmacy and wellness clinic is just warming up in the midst of a cooler economic climate. With New Frontiers now relocated to it's new site across town, Dana Nelson's Pharmacy is thriving and expanding into a 16,000 square foot site, or more than double it's current size. They have taken over the formerly occupied spaces of the Special Olympics offices, SLO Kickboxing, Traditional Tattoo and Maly's.

Busier than ever, the staff are working and servicing clients without skipping a beat while Nelson's old office spaces are in the process of being renovated and redesigned. The new floor plan doubles the size of the store and will provide the pharmacy and Nelson's clients with a variety of next-generation health and wellness services: private fitting rooms for medical devices, an infusion therapy room, a larger more state-of-the-art compounding area and a kitchen area where classes will be held for people who need special dietary needs.

Dana Nelson has owned, operated and previously worked for the current pharmacy, known previously to locals as Hurley's, for more than 25 years having purchased t in 1987. When Dana first purchased the pharmacy, there were 12 non-chain pharmacies in the area. Currently this is one of the few remaining pharmacies; none with such an expansive durable medical equipment, supplies and supplements.
