Dark Moon - A Novel
Online, March 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - People are not always what they seem. Maggie Tideswell explores in her debut novel the way people manipulate each other in love relationships. In Dark Moon, the eternal triangle takes an innovative twist into the occult. It was released by All Things That Matter Press in September 2011 and is available online at kalahari.com, amazon.com and barnsandnoble.com in paperback and ebook format.
Witchcraft is still pretty much a taboo subject in South Africa, but it is a religion like any other. Satanism on the other hand is no religion at all. The difference is made very clear in Dark Moon, though it isn't a textbook on the Craft. Spells and rituals are not fully described - and cannot be copied - but are a natural part of the story.
"The talent of an author lies in her ability to hook readers into the book from the onset and keep them almost mesmerized until the final page. Maggie Tideswell in Dark Moon has succeeded in doing precisely that. Vivid description, dialogue that rings true to the ear, and just the right amount of exposition to keep readers Tideswell fans forever!"
--Salvatore Buttaci, author of Flashing My Shorts and 200 Shorts
