Data Meaning Hires Former CEO of a Sales Acceleration Platform

Executive with 15 Years' Experience Helping Customers Succeed Joins Business Intelligence Consultancy During Phase of Rapid Growth

Data Meaning, a leading, full-service Business Intelligence (BI) consultancy, announced today that it has hired Ty Tucker as Vice President of Professional Services, Commercial. Ty brings 15 years of experience in professional services for consultancies and technology companies prior to his more recent role, serving as CEO, of a Sales Acceleration Platform.  At Data Meaning, Ty will focus on heightening customer experience through service delivery and value-add advisory services. He’ll lead Data Meaning’s team of services professionals and help develop an ecosystem of system integration partners dedicated to customer success.

Ty’s move to Data Meaning highlights the company’s continued dedication to customer success. Ty’s vision for Data Meaning is to help customers leverage Data Meaning’s implementation and advisory services to help achieve their respective business goals. “I am looking forward to helping our customers achieve their business goals through world-class consultation and service delivery,” said Ty. “Every customer, regardless of size or focus, deserves a consistent and excellent experience, always.”

I'm impressed by Data Meaning's growth and progression as a company, and once I was provided visibility into the team and supporting products developed, I was convinced. I'm excited to come on board and help strengthen support for Data Meaning's core customers, and the new markets where the organization is already gaining traction.

Ty Tucker, VP of Professional Services, Commercial

Ty was attracted to Data Meaning as a company for a very specific reason: “Data Meaning’s dedication to innovation in the BI space along with the company’s unlimited growth opportunities made the decision to lead its professional services group a logical next step in my career.”

Before joining Data Meaning, Ty served in a number of leadership roles including CEO of a Sales Acceleration Platform, where he owned profit and loss for the company’s product and services organization, driving strategy, structure, management, and operations to ensure client success, client retention, and key business and financial metrics. Before that, he was Regional Managing Partner of Solutions and Strategy for a consultancy operating out of Chicago, working with services leaders, services operations, and regional management to build the tools and processes to enable, guide, and govern the global body of consultants within the services organization and the partner ecosystem.

Since a major investment in 2013 to more closely align its technology with the way people live and work, Data Meanings service offerings and custom solutions have expanded well beyond its roots in Business Intelligence services to Business Intelligence application development. Today, multiple industries are trusting Data Meaning to implement and manage its business intelligence solutions.
