You can guess which girl got more emails. Yes, the beautiful girl with a few screws lose received exponentially more emails; in fact she got double the emails in just two days.

Just because you aren't meeting someone online, and not in person does not mean you are going to instantly meet a James Bond lookalike. Men do seem to be slightly more aesthetic than women on dating sites, but the results end up the same in general. Once someone gets to know you, your personality is obviously important, but initially, you are attracted to someone physically when interacting online. The rule is if you they wouldn't talk to you in a bar, they probably aren't going to talk to you over an email.
