David Janca Joins SAPinsider Board of Directors

BOSTON, October 30, 2019 (Newswire.com) - SAPinsider, the world’s largest and fastest-growing independent membership organization of SAP professionals with more than 350,000 members, announced today the appointment of David Janca to the Board of Directors. Mr. Janca’s appointment expands the Board’s global leadership and positions SAPinsider to continue rapid growth and better serve the SAP community worldwide.

Mr. Janca brings a proven track record of leadership vision and success. As Founder and CEO of ValueCentric LLC, he founded the company in 2002 and quickly developed it into the leader in providing channel data management services and analytical solutions to manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in the pharmaceutical supply chain. His vision for the company’s ValueTrak Platform pioneered “software as a service” within the pharma industry. He grew the business from focusing on traditional pharma products to providing applications for Specialty and Med-Surge products, and technology solutions for the distribution segment as well. Mr. Janca sold the business to IQVIA (IQV $30B Market Cap) in January 2019. Today, he continues in his leadership role at ValueCentric as the company integrates with IQVIA’s broad healthcare portfolio.

In 1995, Mr. Janca co-founded Supply Chain Solutions, a technology company focused on replenishment optimization for manufacturers, wholesale distributors and retailers. The SCORE product, developed under his leadership, remains the standard for replenishment activities in the pharmaceutical distribution industry. The product is still utilized by big three drug wholesalers and regional distributors, as well as Food and Automotive distribution companies. Manhattan Associates acquired Supply Chain Solutions in 2000.

Mr. Janca began his 34-year career in the healthcare industry at Cardinal Health. He spent 10 years with Cardinal in various management roles and was Vice President of Purchasing at the time of his departure.

A frequent speaker at various industry conferences, Mr. Janca is viewed as an expert in the healthcare distribution supply channel. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing. Mr. Janca his wife Lynn reside in Naples, FL. He is involved in various community and not-for-profit organizations in both Florida and New York.
