David K. Montoya Returns As CEO Of Dark Myth Production Studios; Russo's Out

Dark Myth has severe loss in recent quarter and looks to Montoya to fix.

Dark Myth Production Studios, announced today that founder David K. Montoya is returning to the role of CEO, effective immediately. He replaces L. Alan Russo Jr., who has resigned and is leaving the board.

"I believe that David's vision and leadership are critical to building Dark Myth's leadership in the publication industry for the long term," said L. Alan Russo Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dark Myth Production Studios. "There is no better person in the world to run Dark Myth at this time than the man who created it and who has built this company over the last 18 plus years."

David K. Montoya founded the company in 1992 and has served as CEO until July of this year.

"Dark Myth has tremendous opportunities ahead of it," Montoya said. "I am enthusiastic about Dark Myth's future. While we have a lot of work before us, I am positive that in the end Dark Myth will come out a head."

The company also announced that it expects its first-quarter results to be below the average of estimates for its overall revenue earnings.

The announcement of Russo's departure was made public after he announced it in the newest issue of the company's magazine, The World of Myth.

"David Montoya is a smart guy," Russo said. "The next 12 to 14 months will be about as important as it gets for the company's survival."
