He is also a registered securities principal of the brokerage firm LPL Financial, the largest independent brokerage firm in the country for the last twenty years (as reported by Financial Planning Magazine, June 1996 – 2015 based on total revenue), where he oversees other LPL Financial registered staff in his office. The two firms are not affiliated. He is also a licensed insurance broker. Along with his other prior professional positions described above, he previously worked for eleven years as an officer with New Hampshire Savings Bank, his final years serving as the Vice President for Asset & Liability Management.
